Leslie was in between projects, so she was my assistant camerawoman.  I think she liked it.  She was especially good with closeups, but not of me.

Holy crap on a cracker! Who is that old woman?

The project that the old woman was working on is my sage green sleeveless vest.  I’m at the armhole on the front.  The back is already finished, so I’m near done.  However, I’ve promised to make a scarf for a friend and an afghan for my sis-in-law’s grandson.  My vest may go on the back burner.  It’s Cascade 220 so I may not be able to wear it until next year – or not – if the weather continues to be cold and snowy.

Michele is back to the orange – uh, coral – sweater for her daughter.  We are now seeing the end and it is a stunning sweater.  She was binding off the neck with size 0 needles.  Size 0?  That’s just way too small.

Michele hasn’t sewn the pieces together yet, but fitted them together for us to see how it will eventually look.  Lucky Erica!  It will look beautiful on her.  Erica, by the way, has recovered nicely and flown back to Utah and is back at her job.  We are so glad to hear that she’s back to normal!

Marylane wore her front-crossover shawl and we loved it!  I want one!  She still has to crochet or knit an edging around the neck and back, but it’s nearly finished – at least finished enough to model.

The project that Marylane was working on was a set of children’s mittens and hat for the Loud at the Library basket.  Speaking of, we will not meet next week because of the fundraiser.  A lot of us will be there.  It was so much fun last year.  I’m sorry I’ll miss it, so everyone have enough fun for me!

Mary has only the hood to attach to her first knitted hooded towel for Grandbaby #1 – due pretty soon, I believe.  She has another one to go for Grandbaby #2 who is due in July.

Francy is NOT waiting for a baby at the moment, so she brought out her scarf that she’s making – the one like Leslie’s – only in beautiful shades of yellow and green.  She told us that when her daughter-in-law Heidi said that she liked it, Francy said “It’s yours!”  She’s finishing it for Heidi.

Deb has come a long way on her lilac vest.  Leslie got a photo of the pattern with finished product and then a closeup of the vest itself.  Deb, it’s going to be perfect on you.

Linda brought the finished baby hat – the one with the self-patterning yarn – that she had made tassel balls for.  I can’t remember what the word is for those tassel balls, but you know what I mean.  Hey, I’m old.  Anyway, they turned out so pretty – all differnt colors.

Linda is still working on the prayer shawl.  I think she’s getting tired of it, though.  She groaned a little.  Actually, she groaned a lot.  Keep plugging away, Linda.  Or start another project and keep the shawl as a UFO.  I have a lot of UFO’s.  That’s Un Finished Objects to those of you who never leave anything unfinished. (Yeah, like that’s gonna happen.)

I guess you can pray that you actually finish that prayer shawl someday, Linda.

Just when we thought that our little circle was complete, Carol made an entrance.  And when I say that Carol made an entrance, I mean that CAROL MADE AN ENTRANCE!

TA-DA! I'm here!

We were so glad to see her.  It had been a while because she’s been busy, busy, busy with rehearsals.  Next week we’ll meet at THE house, right Carol?  She brought us the finished fingerless mittens that she had so much trouble with.  They look very pretty.

She keeps showing us the tiny little circular needle that she used.  I keep thinking that maybe I should try one.  Someday when I’m in the mood to make something very small.
